How I feel for her parents. Yet another hope dashed. And yet they still think she may be still alive. I hope so but I wouldn't want to bet any money on it.

The law does not set a minimum age at which children can be left alone. However, it is an offence to leave a child alone when doing so puts him or her at risk.

However, imagine if her body was found just 200 yards from the hotel complex that she dissapeared from. The frustration after all the searching and world wide campaigning to realise she was there the whole time..!
At least they still have the hope she MAY be alive. And I assume until a body is found, they will continue this hope

I'm almost 100% sure they wouldn't have left them if they thought there was a risk. They were on holiday, I very much doubt they left their kids when at home. People get a bit carefree on holiday.....and now they are suffering because of that.

It's really tiresome reading the McCann bashing.

Um yes and no - we dont say the Americans or Canadian Police are cr+p at their job. Nor really the German ...

I know I am in the minority but I believe Maddie is alive . I think she was targeted during the days before and it was a deliberate child snatching . There have been cases where children have been found many years afterwards.
I feel for the Mccanns. Hope is all they have left to cling to. It must be absolute torture getting through each day.

Why is it daft to criticise the parents? They went to the bar...she is missing. If they had stayed in the apartment...she would be OK. Is there something I'm missing? I don't profess to be a paragon of virtue, but I believe I have got a bit of common sense!

3 children were left unattended. ! I truly believe this child was dead within 24 hours of her '' disappearing'' :(
