Well ill tell you .i got a letter a week or two ago .from buck house saying they wanted to give me an award for my use of the English language and my plain speaking .they only had one left so told them to award johnny barryman

Barrowman has worked extensively on fundraising for a number of charities over the years dealing with cancer, HIV, Down's Syndrome and animal groups...That's what!

I had to look him up as I had never heard of him. Now I know all about him and his husband. Why he deserves an MBE is a mystery.

roy - far from it. I simply do not rate him as an entertainer. Coincidentally Alan Carr falls into the same category. Have a nice day.

I find John Barrowman a pain in the arse. I do switch channels though.

I too had to look him up as I'd never heard of him.

Why he, or anyone else for that matter, deserves an award, is beyond me!

Jomlett - you forgot to mention:

Barrowman was asked during Radio 1's Switch programme about his habit of exposing himself during interviews, and did so on this occasion. Although the act was not seen (a show staff member had covered the webcam), the BBC and Barrowman subsequently apologised for any offence caused.

Strange behaviour and he gets an MBE. Oh well . . .!
