My advice would be to move on meet neew people, explain to this guy that if he comes back over and your still available then you can start again by being friends and seeing what comes of it. If he does have strong feelings for you he will be happy to let you get on with your life and when and if he comes back to live here then to take it slow and show you the respect you deserve. Maybe over time you will forget about this guy maybe you wont, what ever is meant to be will be. Good luck
Totally 100% agree with the sound advice from yummymum, . Hope you were having safe sex when you made love with this guy. I think he treated you really shabbily by dumping you on your birthday. You will fall in love again and maybe next time it will be with someone who genuinely cares for you and wouldnt dream of hurting you.

Totally agree, but it's best to try and draw the line and getting out there to meet new people is a good idea. If you are meant to be together and he really loves you, things will eventually work out and and you'll end up together - be it 1 year from now or 10 years. By getting out there and meeting others, you'll see whether or not he really is that great. Take care of yourself.x
Hey girl,
Its hard dating people that we are not familiar with, culture etc.
Boy are some of them handsome though, so very romantic too.
But I think he did it because he just didnt want to hurt you anymore and he didnt want to hurt either knowing that he has to go back. Lets say if it got really serious, both of you would eb heart breaking Its better that it ended in the way that it did. Something similar happened to me.
Hope all works well.
