Do I Have To Inform Insurance Co?
If a named driver on my car insurance has an accident under their own insurance in their own car, do I have to inform my insurance company of their accident and give details etc and if so, will it affect my premiums at this time, mid policy?
Thanks for any advice you can give me.

So, likewise, they'll require you to tell them about another driver of your car having an accident in a another vehicle (covered by a different insurer).

Thanks so much, I've read conflicting advice through Google I think the best advice (as usual) is on answer bank. Does make sense to inform them anyway doesn't it seeing that insurance is a minefield nowadays and it doesn't take much to let the insurers off the hook lol. I think next renewal I will not be having a named driver now, hmm.
