wash pillows? ,i've tried leaving them in a protector and pillowcases but they end up all lumpy and i end up throwing them out .

Washing pillows has always been a disaster for me. I tend to just replace as required.

it's very annoying isn't it as they always say washable .

You can put them in with a normal load of whites, say some sheets and towels but obviously do not overload your machine :-)

I have done this and it seems to stop the pillow from flopping about in the drum and it keeps its shape.

Or you can invest in duck down pillows but these are really hard to dry properly.

I never wash pillows. I just replace every 3 months.

et al fair enough :-) i wouldn't buy them anyway either, just a suggestion.

I did in fact wash some pillows at the weekend with the load of other stuff and they came out fine even through a 1200 spin!!
