Personally, I would avoid eating the 'common ink cap' altogether, due to not being safe to consume alcohol for four days after eating them.

Thanks, Chip. We've just had a steady downpour, so the ground should be a bit easier for me to wield my hoe!

I use a 'Dutch Hoe' Tilly, working backwards as I go and draging the weeds into little heaps, to pick up later.
