There is a small chance this could be a scam (look this one up in the usual places).
It is much more likely this is 'fat-finger problem' where the wrong postcode has been entered on the order. Mr X is probably wondering where his order has got to!
Each postcode covers around 20-30 addresses. Does Mr X live at one of those? Some addresses can be similar - even within the same code (my road is one of these).
You could collect the item, contact Amazon and quote the details on the label. They will have Mr X's contact details and can get back to him and get the right postcode. You will probably be able to return the item to Amazon free of charge.
Postcodes are so central to ordering and delivery now, so it is essential that any company you order from has the correct one.
