Trident And I S
4 Answers
No specific link, but I think this fits better in News than CB.
We are apparently facing (yet again) "The greatest threat to the UK in living memory".
Putting aside the short length of some memories (7/7/2005 anyone?), surely the 'greatest threat' should mean we deploy the greatest response?
Which is Trident.
Which is patently useless (unless we fire IS leaders out of the missile silos one by one).
The money wasted on this ridiculous 'my dick is bigger than your dick' vanity weapon could have been spent on recruiting/equipping enough conventional forces to actually give us a chance of doing something.
So why keep the thing?
