nobody knows what the weather's going to be months ahead. I'm lucky if the forecasts can tell me what it's like right now. Last winter the Daily Express predicted 100 days of snow but it turned out wet and mild. The one before that was horrible.

So anyway, here's the Express's prediction for this winter - hey, what do you know, it's going to be the coldest for a century!

No harm in having warm clothes to hand and lagging your boiler.
Phew, what a scorcher, etc.
They'll be getting their info from the large number of berries on the rowan trees.
inevitably........

No competent weather services provider will punch out seasonal forecasts anymore because they are rarely accurate to any degree... it's a pointless exercise and just gives the tabloid gutter press like the Daily Heil and the Express more trash to fill their pages with...
The express is obsessed with the weather....

When I was on holiday BBC World was the only English channel we could get. Everyday they said the weather was going to be 22. Everyday it was well over 30.

I think the only thing they can predict is storms.
Allegedly the 'worst winter for over 100 years'- but they said that last year as well, none the less I'm making contingency plans for the horses in case they're right.
I read this ... but it seems it's all in the lap of the gods really Georgiesmum.
Maybe all the clothes shops know something we don't know, since at the moment they all seem to be trying to sell very thick winter clothes, with furry hoods, quilted linings, heavy knits, lined boots, woolly scarves, etc
I've heard this, but don't believe it !
