Laptop, Tablet Or Notebook?
7 Answers
I currently use a laptop but due to moving I am looking for something I can use to surf the web, do a bit on Ebay, keep in touch with friends on Facebook etc. I am now confused. Do I think about getting a new laptop, tablet or notebook? I do need something with a USB port as I have to transmit info through weekly for market research purposes. I do not have an awful lot to spend but I'm quite ignorant (sorry!) with tablets/notebooks. Any help would be appreciated. thanks x

why does that need a usb?
a tablet would connect wirelessly.
if you don't need lots of computing power a tab is ideal, easy to carry around and you can store stuff in 'the cloud'.
Because their storage is 'solid state' ie no hard drive they are far more robust for moving around than laptops and notebooks.
many have optional accessories such as keyboards if you find that more comfortable.

Personally, I fail to appreciate that moving needs you to stop using your Laptop in the hope of finding something better. If your present laptop is causing problems, then get a new on. Smart phones, Tablets etc. will never replace a good Laptop or better still a Desktop Computer. I have a Desktop and a Laptop, along with the most basic of a mobile telephone and feel that I am fully 'in-touch' with the world at all times.
