I asked this question many moons ago but can't find the reply.When I ask a question and someone replies by giving a web address highlighted in red (I know this is put technically wrong) as part of his post answer.How is this done and how can I forward this info in an email? Badly put I know I'm just hoping someone understands my gobbledegook. Thanks.
To put a link into a post, Cods, just open a page at the site in question. Then highlight (left click & drag mouse) the address at the top (in the address bar.)
Right click & COPY.
PASTE this address into the body of the text in your post.
To pick up a link in a post, Highlight, & copy, as above. PASTE the link into the email you want to send.
When you are on a site that you want to share, highlight the web address in the address box - where you see www. Highlight by left click and press 'ctr' and 'c' at the same time. (ctr c is copy)
Then, when you are on your e-mail, press 'ctr' and 'v' at the same time (ctr v is paste). This will then make that address red.
Make sure to include the http:// or https:// at the beginning of the address, and there should be no chars other than spaces immediately before or after it - so don't put a full-stop immediately after the address, for example;
Hi bibblebub in your post you did http:// or https:// in red I've just copy/pasted it and as you see it has come out in black.How did you do it red in the first place?
gingerbee,your reply was a bit ambiguous,when you said it should be red when posted that sounded like at the start instead of when its received.If you see wot I mean. Thanks.
