cash machine

I took money out of the cash machine tonight and it only gave me �20 instead of �30, is there anything I can do about it??

Report to your bank.This happened to me by �20 .It may take a few weeks but I got mine paid back into account.They will send you a form to fill in.

if you go in to the branch first thing monday morning they can count what they have left in the machine and they will know they will have 10 extra.

You might not even need to contact the bank. I once had an ATM tell me it had paid out the �50 that I'd asked for even though it did nothing except to return my card. That was on a Sunday. When I got into work on Monday morning (well before the banks opened), my employer passed on a message from my bank apologising for the error and assuring me that my account had not been debitted with the �50
