Sunny but a bit blustery here TWR. Did the school run this morning. Going to meet friends for lunch but not a lot more.

Well my day started with a 6.28 call from the home care providers - had to go pick Mum up from the floor - she wasn't hurt but she has artificial knees and cannot get up on her own.
Trying to source a van to deliver my ebay side tables - its not as easy as last time and it looks like I'm not going to have the bargain I thought I was once delivery charges are added
Oh well we live and learn

I have only sold a table + 4 chairs on ebay Ric, I numbered each leg + table leg + screws together, the couple came from Preston, the said they would have had to get a van if I had not done what I'd done, I would have inserted in our Ad, either Buyer to collect or their own courier.

Should have added, hope your Mum is Ok? my own Mother has had a few falls where she is, I pity the carer's as they can not be with the residents all the time.

Worked 8 or 9 days straight (the days roll into one!), so relaxing today, pottering about yet doing as little as possible. Had a heart stopping moment this morning when the washing machine was making worrying sounds and movements. Stopped the wash mid cycle to find bra underwire had escaped from the material and lodged itself in the drum. Wire forcibly removed and washing machine now in full working order. Phew. A new one was not on my list this month, although a new bra now is!
