A British Muslim father who police feared was travelling to Islamic State with his four young children has been detained in Turkey.

Are the British police responsible for all UK families who decide to travel to Turkey ?

It would make a change for the authorities to show concern over those coming into the UK, rather than those who wish to leave.

Let them go, they won't be missed.

Agree, all the more reason why they should be charged with putting children at risk, instead of letting them get off without charge.

If they don't wish to live in the UK them go,
just don't let them back in again!
Ummm...difficult to argue much with what you have said but are all followers of Islam tarred with the same brush ? I must admit to knowing very few British Muslims, but the ones that I have come across seem very westernised to me.
