We have all seen the news regards the Port of Calais, is it fair on the HGV drivers that are trying to do their jobs and getting involved, with the Duty of the French Port Authorities? why should these drivers be intimidated by these People, who is responsible to remove the people from the Port?
The Independent Advisory Group concluded in its final 1988 report: "On the basis of all of the evidence now available, we believe that the chances of persons or animals contracting anthrax on Gruinard Island are so remote that the island can be returned to civil use".
Problem is that why these people are trying to get into the UK? They are already in France which is part of Europe. They can go to Germany or any other country then why Britain?
We all know the reason, benefit system. Sooner or later we will have to get rid of this attraction.
Talbot, I did state that it was probably a daft question when I first asked how they got into the lorries. Now, thanks to those who have bothered to answer sensibly, I know the answer.
Yes, I was naive. That's why I asked the question.
I still think that a small, irascible, possessive terrier travelling in the lorry would be a great deterrent now that dogs can cross with little delay as long as they are properly documented.
// They want out of France and I'd guess the French won't be trying too hard to keep them. There seems no easy answer to this.//
I think it was the Mayor of Callis being a dick tobe honest
He has 3000 refugees without benefits having to subsist on whatever, living and crapping in tents and he says "nothing to do with me ...." I mean he could easily get a second job with Dewsbury Police the ones who replied when asked about the disappeared children - 'try the Turkish Police' - ( and then zoop they were over the border into Syria )
