I have recently bought a car WiFi for my grandson so that he can track Eddie Stobart lorries while on his holiday. He tells me that a 10 pound top up only lasts 30 minutes. Expensive! Has anyone got any idea if this would be correct

Not sure what you mean by a 'car wi-fi' but there's an app which seems to do it for free after an initial payment of £3.99 from the itunes store. Seems as though its about 15 mins behind where they actually are tho.

Hi Talbot. Sorry I'm not sure about modern technology I just know that it is an we something or other will get back to you
I think your grandson may mean it costs £10 for 30 minutes for his phone or tablet, whilst he's using the Stobart tracker.
Why not just do it on a phone?

Hi everyone . All I know is that its a EE 4gb Buzzard in car WiFi pay as you go. He got tracker on his iPod and he tops up on phone. 30 mins not long for ten pounds
pay as you go.

That explains the high cost, I wouldn't try do do anthing like what your grandson is doing using pay as you go.
From Baldric's excellent an educational (in my case) post, it looks like the most you can pay is £21 a month.
Is this holiday in the UK?
Another way for the idiots to distract themselves while driving

Charity, if your Grandson wants to see E.S Fleet & you live within an Area of Crick Daventry, E.S. has a train / trailer link there, there use to be a Brand new un-used Unit in their showroom in E.S. colours, if you intend to visit, check first, their main place is Carlisle, that's where they took over Robsons many years years ago.
