Every year, he takes part in the Pride Parade ... on his mobility scooter !!

He carries a banner saying " I'm the oldest gay in the village".

In the past, he has been given a criminal conviction for being gay. This weekend, he married his BF, to coincide with Pride Weekend.

That's the way to go when you're in your 90s!

I am unsure why said AB'er received a suspension, but I for one do enjoy crossing debating swords with him on regular occasions, and would like to see him back with us.

Good for you Andy, he was a valuble member of AnswerBank, and not enjoying the best of health, so perhaps he enjoyed his time spent on this site.

I emailed the admin on Monday about reinstating retrocop and have yet to have a reply. We don't always see eye to eye cop and I but, its a disgrace that one poster should be suspended when there has been so much personal comments/abuse on this thread. Obviously the advertising revenue and 'footfall' outweighs the need for fair play

Good for you retro, but I wouldn't expect a positive reply, In the past I have emailed them on numerous times, but apart from the acknowledgement and promise that they will back to me, they never have.

Did you receive a standard pro forma acknowledgement advising that a response would be forthcoming?

I would suggest that it may be automatically generated to all queries directed to Editorial Towers, but I understand that it is not general AB policy to discuss the suspension of one AB'er with another - hence the absence of your response.
