One of the Elvis greats and best known, early songs.
For years, I struggled to understand those lyrics, in relation to the singer.
It wasn't til about 3 decades later that I first heard the original version by 'Big Momma Thornton' that it all started to make sense, it was a song, intended to be sung by a woman, about a cheating man.

I guess, if the record is produced well, then it really don't matter too much if the lyrics make any sense or not ?
The cover and the original are both good, but personally I think Momma Thorntons version is better.
