Upgrading An Iphone

Have upgraded my iPhone. Had my old one unlocked so that my nephew can have it. Old phone still has old photos, email, my iTunes etc on it. How do I clear my old phone without it deleting everything on my new phone?

use the reset to factory settings option in itunes.
