Dog Training Classes.
4 Answers
Will be going to a dog training class when puppy is ready.
Have enrolled on an on going programme but would it confuse my puppy if I were to also take him to another class as he is so sociable....but would like him to have more variety instead of just the session once a week.
Any views and comments please. Thanks

Dog training classes are not actually for socialising dogs in terms of their being allowed to interact with other dogs. They classes are more for teaching the dog to focus on you in the presence of other dogs.
Why not try a ringcraft cIass - not sure if your pup is a pedigree but that does not matter, most cIubs aIIow any dogs as they often want to train for crossbreed cIasses at companion shows. Its good training to be handIed by other peopIe and to Iearn to reIax around other dogs - at ringcraft they tend to spend quite a bit of time sitting round with other dogs whiIe other dogs are being 'gone over' in the show cIass. It wiII aIso teach him to waIk niceIy without the formaI obedience training
