Why didn't the police search all the cars in the area, after Andy escaped? I would have thought the area would have been sealed, right away. Seems the northern police aren't quite with it

Marks On Floor Tiles

I have taken a carpet up, and there are marks left by the double sided sticky tape. Can anyone suggest a way of removing them.? I have scraped off the tape, but the glue marks are still there....
