Ordinary Words That We Hate ... And Why?

Are there any quite ordinary words that you really can't stand? And why? I hate the word "cruet". It's so, sort of ... seaside landlady....

Are the sellers on there geniune? I'm thinking of buying a 9ct gold chain on there but is it safe? Are all their products second hand? Do buyers get any protection from scam sellers on there?
