Saw Mercia this afternoon, she was being helped out of the car and down the path by her husband and nephew.

I waved, she smiled and nodded but she looks dreadful, tired, drawn and a bag of bones, she must be about 7 stone wringing wet. I had to go out but I shall go see her Saturday morning.
