How do you connect tv,dvd & sky+ with hdmi & scart leads?

Hi there,I have a sony bravia lcd tv, 1 hdmi cable, a new sony gx350 dvd recorder & a sky+ box & scart leads. How do I rig them all up so I can permanently record off sky? Please help!

Red globe on task bar

I've got a red globe come up on my task bar. When I hover my mouse over it it says 'DVD Region Killer V2.7' What is this, where did it come from, do I need it and if not how do I get rid of it??????
