Bye, Bye Swifts

The Swifts have flown the nest (well eves), I wonder how long it will take them to get to Africa. I think they have left a little earlier this year....

Goldfinch

Has anyone else noticed an increase in Goldfinch in their garden this year? I usually get a few, but this year have loads. Lets hope they're haveing a good breeding year....

I don't get out much

But........... I have 4 horses, 3 chickens (did have 4 but Mr Fox ate one, poor Dora), and two dogs, and I'm pizzed, I'll regret this in the mornig. But do any of you feel the same at 4,08 am?...
