I replaced my ancient mains strimmer with a battery version. It's useless, but I do like the blades it uses (much easier than reloading string). Does anyone know of a mains strimmer that uses blades?

I have this plant which I would like identifying. Is it a flower/wild flower or weed? Dark red blooms on long stems about 10" high. https://www.flickr.com/photos/124370080@N07/...

I have searched the internet for a non chemical way to get rid of these pesky creatures. A mixture of vegetable oil and soap is all I can find. Do any of you have another solution?...

We always have foxglove in our garden but this year we have a white one which is unusual. How can we collect the seeds so that we can have more in the future.

My busy lizzies seem to have some kind of very fine creeper crawling over them. No apparent roots just fine tendrils winding round the stems with little nodules. Any ideas please?...
