If i buy a car with a personalised numberplate is it possible to get the original car numberplate back from the DVLA? How much would this cost? I assume the car would come with the paperwork saying...

Repairs or new car dilemma?

Hi. My 7 year old Ford fiesta needs ?300 worth of repairs to pass its MOT. For the future, am I better off getting a loan to buy a used car or keep the Fiesta and keep paying for repairs until it dies...

MoT and Tax.

Why,if a car's road tax depends on the CO2 level of that car,does the CO2 reading not appear on the MOT readout that you are given at the Mot.Only the CO and HC readings are taken so you cannot check...

I am importing a car into the UK. However, I can't license the car without insurance and I can't get insured without a vehicle registration. I am stuck, does anyone know a way around this?????

I've recently bought a 1992 Range Rover Vogue with twin LPG tanks underneath. The guy I bought it from told me that they were 2 x 40 litre tanks but it takes around 60-65 litres before the LPG pump...
