Peugeot 306 1.9td on veg oil

I have been told that my 1998 (s reg) pug 306 td can run on straight veg oil with no engine adjustments or additives to the veg oil,has anyone done this?

Low energy heat lamp bulbs

Does anyone know if you can get an infrared heat lamp bulb in a low energy version?I am needing one for some ducklings that are due to hatch in a week but the bulb i have got is very expensive to have...
