tomtom sat nav problem

just bought a tomtom one....works great only prob is cant seem to update it on the computer for the mapping...anyone else had this trouble??and what was the solution

brake pads

does anyone know how often you should need your brake pads/discs replaced. i bought a brand new mini 2 years ago and had them replaced after a year and my lights just come on agan now!!

Compacks dvd player 6972. Will not turn on.

Recently tried my dvd player and it will not turn on. I have tested continuity from the plug to the switch and power circuit inside the player and this is ok. Haven't looked into this any further....
