Digital switchover + VCR's [follow up]

The TV is a Sanyo [brand new flat screen] a 42" Diagonal LCD 120Hz FULL HDTV DP42410. VCR is Sony SLV - SE 800 and a Sky digi box. Checked + swapped leads as best I can, nothing seems different....

Digital switchover + VCR's

My parents have recently been switched over. Their VCR will play old + pre-recorded tapes, but nothing records or displays through the TV when it's set through the same channel they'd view a video on....
