Dog has dandruff

my dog has terrible dandruff. I brush her but it makes it worse. I've heard that adding a little olive oil in her food should help. Anybody know if any other cures?

My partner was knocked over last week. She was standing on the pavement, near the kerb when a car hit her and knocked her flying to the ground. The police are not prosecuting the driver as they say it...
