injured wood pigeon

I have just found an injured wood pigeon in my back garden.I think it has been attacked by a kestrel.It has plucked lots of feathers out and has raw patches on its back.Is there anything i can give it...

soil against shed??

i am thinking of replacing my old shed ,but there is a bedding patch of soil against my old shed.When i buy my new one I wanted it in the same place,but in the past the wood has rotted at the side...
