Why does my Panasonic MCE-3002 Vacuum Cleaner keep cutting out?

Hi My Panasonic MCE-3002 vacuum cleaner keeps cutting out, I have cleaned the filter and put a new hoover bag in but it is still doing it. Can anyone tell me why? Thanks in advance....
