burning smell from electrics

hi all electricians a while back we had a burning smell coming from our old fashioned fuse box (bakelite type plug in fuse cartridges with fuse wire) checked the fuses and the shower one was red hot....

I had a fuse blow in my 32" so as I didn`t have a spare 5amp I put in a 10amp and there was a slight buzz and it still didn`t work. I think I knackered it,so went out and bought a new 32" Panasonic...

The aisle seat on buses/trains

This has annoyed/baffled me for years. Why do people sit on the aisle seat of buses and trains when the window seat is unoccupied? Then when you ask to sit down, instead of moving over they move aside...
