Nail Varnish

I love wearing nail varnish, with undercoat and top coat. Is it OK to wear it all the time, or should I let the nails 'breathe' for a while ?

Sometimes when I wash my towels in the washing machine, even at 60 degrees, they have an unclean smell, and they don't even smell of the conditioner. Why doesn't the conditioner smell stay on clothes...
