Over-revved Renault 5

Does anyone have an answer to my problem. My renault 5 is really over revved and have tried a few things but NOTHING works, does anyone have a solution? The model is a 1.4 k reg. thanks

engine cleaner

I need to clean the engine compartment and I think the easiest way to do it would be with a degreaser spray and then wash off. Any ideas on products available. Thanks

Parking tickets - driving off before its been issued.....

Having a bit of a debate and wondered if anyone knows what the law is around parking tickets. If you see a council parking inspector writing you a ticket and putting it into a pouch ready to stick on...

motorcycle lock

my bike was backed in to by a 4x4,what a prat! new handel bar went on left hand side.as old one was bent and touching tank.but now there is still a diferance from tank on full lock than the other one...

Removal of algae, etc., from concrete slabs

A fair amount of algae and moss has built up on a path in a shady part of my garden, and I am trying to remove it. I have tried Jeyes Fluid, but it does not remove the growth that is firmly attached...

wheel noise

theres a kind of grinding noise comming from the front wheel on our saxo vtr .its had new break pads, shoes etc . mechanic seems to think its not the bearings. what else could it be ........?help...

starting a 1997 renault cleo 1.2!

Hi, 1997 renault cleo 1.2 ......problem starting....could be to do with the immobiliser? quite often it will only start when the battery is nearly dead...then sputter into action. Once going it drives...

Is it possible to get ripped off now MOTs are computerised? I'm imagining they plug your car in to a computer, & if it prints out a report of what's working & what's not. My nearest MOT centre is Kwik...
