Have You Lost A Question or Answer Today?
72 Answers
Afternoon,
It seems a few users have lost a question/answer today for some reason.
Could you let me know the OS, browser and the circumstances which lead up to losing the question (as best you can remember that is)?
TIA.

No best answer has yet been selected by AB Editor. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.L-i-K.....Purely my opinion as a non-Techie.....You can still download FF11 and 'get shot' at this stage of 12 which we know is easy enough to re-download; if necessary.
It's no good going to the official FF site which is now only offering FF12. However the following might be the answer.:-
http://www.oldapps.co....php?old_firefox=7395
I am a little apprehensive about saying "Have a go" although I would if I were in your position.
You may agree that it is disappointing that our experts within AB have remained silent on this matter.

Thanks Chuck for your response......I am with BT and, after downloading FF12, started experiencing problems. However, believing that I have successfully removed FF12 and reverted to FF11, my problems have been resolved; unlike other folk within AB.
Perhaps it is an opportune moment to ask if we should keep up-to-date with our browsers or adopt the attitude of, 'if it aint broke, don't fix it'. I say this because Firefox is programming No15 which i think could be with us by August of this year.

Congratulations L-i-K on your having taken the Bull by the horns. I only hope that everything is still working, satisfactorily.
It certainly appears to be the case that FF12 has a compatibility problem with AB (or vice versa). Consequently, as the Ed has refrained from commenting further within his thread, my advice to FF12 users is to do as we have done and revert to their earlier editions of Firefox.

How dull can one get?.
About 10mins ago I had a simple 'up-date' message from Mozilla and, stupidly, clicked it. Result FF12 was installed in my computer, along with the problems associated with AB.
Consequently, I had to go into 'add/remove programmes' to get rid of it and the re-instal once again FF11.
Jno...Whilst you cannot recall having installed FF12, perhaps at some stage you also hit the 'up-date' button on a message from Mozilla.
