Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope we're all feeling refreshed and ready to face the great sparkling potential of 2014.

I've not made any resolutions this year - not yet anyway.

I wondered if you'd like to make some for me, and the site in the general.

What direction would you like the site to go in over the next year?

What do you think we could do better over the next 12 months?

What's missing from AB?

Any suggestions and ideas welcome, as long as you're not too rude about it :)

Funny how CD goes on about mods pulling threads willy nilly, yet the other night was saying "where's a mod when you need one" just because he didn't agree with the OP.

Would it be possible to allow Mods to edit title headings and OPs that initially appear provocative but could lead to good debate - rather than having to pull the thread simply because of the title or similar?

Ratter - you can already do that by going into 'threads involving me' and clicking on the name in the bottom right of the box.

I've made a NY Res. In AB I am going to continue being like the three wise monkeys.

Since my membership commenced last October I have witnessed the disappearance of a number of folk for no apparent reasons.

Anyway I now know that Buenchicho and B00 are Mods, so I'll try to avoid upsetting them.

No mod should have the ability to edit anything other people post.

now see that's one of the reasons why some mods possibly don't want to be known too!

I don't want to be "spoken" to any differently that other Ab users. It's still 'me' and im just a user like everyone else ya know :-(

There used to be a box declaiming,

'Edited by Answerbank' on posts that had been scrutinised and amended.
Perhaps that could be reinstated to stop the numerous posts of bafflement, reiteration and explanation following any comment that has been through the swear-filter?
