New Site Coming Soon

Good morning,

We're pretty much done with developing the new website, and we hope to arrange things to go live early next week. Monday ideally.

The new site will work across all your devices, be easier to read, and hopefully run a little smoother.

Although, I expect the first hour on the new site to be very confusing and a little rocky, but I think we can all work together to work it out between us.

For those of you who have seen the beta site, you're going to feel very, very useful suddenly as those who haven't, and new users, learn their way around the site. I hope you don't mind helping out your fellow answerbankers!

I'll update you with our plans one the techies have come out of their team huddle this afternoon.

Just a thought Ed, will we still need to log in using the "beta" site log in that you gave us, or will our original account log in take us straight into the new format?

Well I have a choice Ed. Get used to it or toddle off and I don't see that happening at the moment.

You will just need to log in normally, as you do here.

In fact, it's likely you won't need to log in at all, as your cookies will keep you logged in.

The other domain is just for testing.

will the new site have fixed the badly-written-advert-long-running-script issue that I fight with every day?

It is difficult for me to test for that Mushroom, as I've never been able to make it happen for me in a testing environment.

However, it does run smoother for me generally.

Did you get a chance to look at the beta site? Would you like me to send instructions so you can have a peek?

is the new site for desktops too? I'd assumed it was mainly for mobile devices. Not that it matters, if I don't like it I shall just invoke Article 50 and do an ABexit.
