We're pretty much done with developing the new website, and we hope to arrange things to go live early next week. Monday ideally.
The new site will work across all your devices, be easier to read, and hopefully run a little smoother.
Although, I expect the first hour on the new site to be very confusing and a little rocky, but I think we can all work together to work it out between us.
For those of you who have seen the beta site, you're going to feel very, very useful suddenly as those who haven't, and new users, learn their way around the site. I hope you don't mind helping out your fellow answerbankers!
I'll update you with our plans one the techies have come out of their team huddle this afternoon.
I just dug out the original email but the link doesn't work; it demands authorization before I'm allowed to look at the site. I don't mind, but I do hope this isn't still the case when it goes live.
oh, it looks quite nice. Considering the average age of users THE BIG TYPE IS A GOOD IDEA. Also, it's handy to know that a post was submitted 36,742 minutes ago.
But I'd sooner see all categories listed rather than an incomplete list (as now) or just a handful (as proposed). If there are too many to list easily, maybe that's a sign that some are scarcely used and not really necessary.
