I just sent you an email because AB was freezing on my iPad, this has been happening all morning of and on, but everything else is OK. Now for some inexplicable reason it seems to be working again, it's so frustrating. Do you have ant bright ideas please?

managed one post first thing then nothing. No Ed around over the weekend I bloody give up sick of the whole thing!
MargoTester - as an "interim" measure, change browser then you cn use AB on ipad.
I've just tried AB on the Chrome browser that isn't covered by Ad Block and it froze...so back to Safari and Ad Blocker and no problems.
Sorry everyone, we won't be able to do anything else until Monday when the IT team are back in. I can only apologise...
I'm actually using a browser that is called "that which must not be mentioned"
Just downloaded Adblocker (pale blue and red logo)
With a white hand logo. Working fine so far.

tried ad block, didn't work. What is a white hand logo please
Thats not the one I'm using.

Mine is by Eyeo GmbH

I'll try that. I tried using my phone earlier and it said it had been infected by a virus and the number 86.11.247-87 came up does that mean anything to anybody? (sony experia)
After everything was working ok, this morning I couldn't get on with my iPad. Sigh!!
AB has been unusable on my iPad for a few days now. I've just got a trial version of Adblocker and it seems to have done the trick. Looks like I'm going to have to pay to use AB :( did try the other blocking apps mentioned above but for some reason they say they are not compatible with my device.
I just got that message too, ratty.

It obviously is one of the ads that is causing the problem and I can't believe they have just left it to rot over the weekend, I suppose it was too much to ask that they blocked all ads over the weekend
White hand - thats a description of the icon for the browser - which is why I mentioned the manufacturer of the one I'm using.
AdBlock is working fine for me. You need to follow the instructions which appear for it to work. Pretty simple stuff tho.
I tried a few that were supposedly for Safari but as I say they wouldn't download this one ( red square with a white X ) is the only one that would install even though it's says for chromecast. It works and means I can get on AB without wanting to throw my iPad through the window so I'm happy.
