Today I had the need to ask the Editor to remove a perfectly reasonable thread appertaining to the recent riot taking place on a street in London.
From the off set this thread was high-jacked by certain members who obviously have taken a dislike to not only me personally, but also to the threads that I place on the news section of answerbank.
I did report one of the offenders, but no action against him was taken
The ED or someone else was good enough to remove the thread, but did not take the opportunity to chastise the offending members.
AOG....no! no! no!...you have got it all wrong.......the Ed isn't interested and neither was the one before. I suggested many years ago when AB was again in turmoil, but for different reasons that certain ABers should be banned.....just my opinion. So what happened, the Ed banned the "characters" and made 2or 3 of the "troublemakers" Moderators. Well that...
From what I have observed this site is all about advert revenue, I would doubt the Editor present and past would care one jot about the current bickering and in fighting this is why the moderating has been delegated to regular users. I would hasten to guess that they would be unwilling to ban regulars long term as they are needed to keep the site active and busy looking in order to attract more advertisers.
AOG, you clearly don't believe that someone can be black and as British as you or I, if you did, you would have thought twice about using the word 'ethnic'.
I find it fascinating (if a little frustrating) digging into your psyche as I point out basic flaws in your statements. You're a walking anachronism who clearly has trouble living in a world where 'ethnics' (shudder) and 'blacks' (double shudder) can breath the same air as you.
He's backed himself into the same corner by resurrecting his original thread. He can't answer:
a) why he assumes they're 'ethnic'
b) why he's stated that they are all black
c) who these 'certain ethnics' are other than they're 'black'.
