that seems a trifle rude, aog, but why do you imagine any or all mods have even seen it? Unless a patrol rota has been set up in AB Towers, I don't believe mods endeavour to read every thread, they just dip in and out like anyone else.

As it's now been reported direct to the Ed by you, I imagine mods will now stay away from it; they're outgunned.

I've been on here a while and there is no JTH conspiracy- that's patently ridiculous. The fact that she and a few others won't have any cotter with some of the nonsense that gets spouted on here is not the same thing as having undue influence, she's just not afraid to speak up.

Jordy - You admitted that yesterday's thread was a 'dig'; at least have the honesty to admit it again, today.

I really have no greater influence than anyone else on here....and I am in contact off AB with less than a handful of people. There are no e-mails flying backwards and forwards between us or from me to other users. If a comment is removed and I happen to be on the thread, I always seem to get the blame. Anyone who has been on this forum for any length of time knows that I like a good (verbal) scrap just as much as the next person.....and probably more, if I'm honest, and I get just as frustrated to see moth-holes appearing in a 'robust' discussion.

yes, nobody's come up with an answer to that one yet. I scrutinise the holes where removed posts have been, searching for fingerprints, or even just a whiff of DNA, but nothing.

My view is that Offensive posts and remarks should not automatically be deleted. Sometimes it is worth keeping them so that other ABers can judge the person posting the remark.
