I can't remember who it was that posted somewhere in AB to say that that the Ed's clock was out by 24hrs or more.

I'm not a Soccer fan but will watch the opening ceremony which is I believe live on ITV 1. tomorrow at 1.00pm ( 13.00hrs. BST.)

A few days have gone by since we had our horological discussion and we are still left with a clock which has stopped. Perhaps it's going to be left in the Ed's Blog section and reset for the next World cup. A lot of people are getting a real 'Buzz' from present matches in S.A.!!

Anyway, although the Ed has ignored my question, I wish to thank all of you who found time to respond to me and of course Viv who could now become a regular columnist. ( Our username was set-up so either of us could use AB independently of each other.)
