After Eurovision there was a programme about Agnetha from Abba, it was so interesting, all about her young career and her marriage etc etc, she still sings and has a lovely voice.
Found her .
Gigliola Cinquetti.

shaney, I posted this the other day, it's the song she won with (with what look like handy Portuguese subtitles)

Ah yes ..thanks Jno I didn't see your post .I see she won it way back in '64 according to her Wiki entry .I was racking my brains to think of her name but on Googling up it came. She's got a lovely voice .
She's a journalist now hosting a current affairs programme on tv.
it wasn't here I posted it, I think it was some Eurovision thread. That must have been a couple of years before Sandie Shaw. And still a journalist. Goodness knows what happens to other winners. I think there are two Bucks Fizzes now.
Somethin' nasty in the woodshed....
Haha, not mine, I've just watched Cold Comfort Farm. Sis put it in with my birthday present, she knows I like that kind of thing to watch on a wet Sun afternoon. It's absolutely hammered down here.

I love those Eurovision songs, I remember the second one was one of my mum's favourites. I loved Vicky Leandros' Come what may.
I was singing Waterloo very loudly earlier and there was a strange scraping noise..haha....somethin nasty in my kitchen.
Lol...

Oh nooo, haha, I hope not. (Thanks for the earworm!) Something didn't like my singing...nul points :)
Haha....I've got Sandie on earworm
I feel like a puppet sometimes ,as if when they let go of the strings I'll probably collapse in a heap.
She was lovely .

She was lovely..there was a girl in our class who looked like her but she kept her shoes on :)
I remember she had a list of possible songs to enter with and sang one each week on the (oh dear) Rolf Harris show to gauge audience response. She made a mess of Puppet on a String, came in on the wrong beat, sang a couple of lines and had to ask the orchestra to stop so she could try again. The rest is history. She was on Jools Holland on New Year's Eve a couple of years ago and looked rather stiff, as do I.

My dad didn't like Sandy Shaw, he said she had cunning eyes. I went barefooted years before she ever did.

I saw Cold comfort farm, Robi, I like those things too, it was a bit weird though.
It'll be all that no socks malarkey, the cold went up her legs...and her skirts weren't keeping much warm either.
I like weird...I've just found Gormenghast on YouTube. :)
I wanted to like Gormenghast but couldn't
early night, everyone? Sleep toight
yup, early night last night and a good sleep. We went out early this morning, dogs had a lovely time and are now snoring and I will be soon. The next delivery of blue paint is due today so I am back to the spray booth!

Morning all. Mousey had one of her yeowling nights, fine till about 5am and then had me running around the house and she hiding, finally went back to bed and then she came and shouted that she wanted to go out the window, so I helped her pdq!!
Had a lazy day yesterday.

Hope you are all ok.
Morning all...what a kerfuffle about a song by a bearded 'lady' in a song contest, albeit a very expensive contest. I've got far more important things to worry about such as how am I going to get my drawers dry in this weather. I'll have to mangle them twice and send them to Ibiza.

More blue woofy? There was a euro song about that wasn't there? here we go again
♫...Bluuue, bluuue, my world is blue...♫

Vera was good last night, as always.
I caught up with Lucy in George II Part I, she's gone from wagging her finger to waving her fist but she is still fun. She was using her fingers to demonstrate what the surgeon should have done with the queen, which was push her intestines back through the hole in her stomach wall like this.
