My pal had a Border Collie dog which lived for 12 years, its name was D.I.Y.

When he was asked by people why me called it D.I.Y, he explained as a puppy it was always doing odd jobs around the house ?

My old next door neighbours had a cat who only had three legs. The called him Domino because he was black and white and fell over a lot.

We had two cats, brothers. One was called Sparky and the other was called Chips. ( electrician and a carpenter).

Soarky wasnt so bad but we got some funny looks when shouting CHIPS!

The second earliest dog I remember from my childhood was called Brandy. Honest injun. It was always good to call out his name when walking in the New Forest and the little bugger was nowhere to be seen!

Forgot about my old neighbour bought a little kitten after her husband sadly past away and she called it "Nookie" It used to day out most of the day, so at night my neighbour used to walk around the street shouting Nookie Nookie where my Nookie.
