God love him - he can't win - he either barks too much but today nothing out of him - I don't think he is great - far too quiet and usually when I am upstairs he follows me around waiting to see if he is getting out - not today.

Last night he was choking in little spurts but then it died down. Am worried regarding this tumour getting bigger. Will bring him to the vets next week.

How are you doing today? My heart goes out to you - I live on my own with my cats (previously had dogs) and they become such an important part of your life. When my last furrybairn died I cried for days. It is normal to grieve for a person that you love. This person just happened to have a little hairy body.

I'm sorry to hear that sad news, Connie. Mr Harv would have had a great life with you, of that I'm sure.
hi jjconn, thinking about you today. I hope you are ok... anne.
We're all think about you Conne and feeling for you... We lost my Daughters most beloved cat 3 weeks ago and I had to sit with her whilst she passed, was heartbreaking, she was so lovely.... :o(
I saw a post on facebook that summed this up lovely. Unfortunately I can't find the actual quote but it basically said don't be sad for putting me to sleep, be glad we were there to love each other for as long as we did and for the life you gave me.
It doesn't get any easier no matter how many times you go through it, or how many animals you have. Remember the good times and smile when you think of him.
