Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?
here
It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

Yes come on Robi, where have you been interfering? I need something to read lying here as I am (cos the washing is hung out, the floors clean, I've eaten crumpets and eggs, and washed up). Come on, spill the beans...................................
Robo I can't view your cartoon, it must be to stinky for a mac. Yes I am in a mischief mood today too, it must be the weather. DH has just texted me from macdonalds to say he is fine (out on bike, I mentioned it earlier) and so I have some steam to let off...contributions? :-)

come on Robi, where have you been stirring?
I cruised relationships earlier...what a load of wet blanket cry babies...to think I burned my bra for that lot....well not actually, they were to expensive to waste.
He again.

Funnily enough Jude, when I t hink of all the various ointments, pills and potions I had from the doctor for the spots/thingies on my face, I found that that good old Savlon was t he best thing ever. They spot thingies have come out again today and I have decided it has to be be something I touch in the garden. I was out there t his weekend fiddling about and trying to make myself feel better.

I have a feeling that if I go to the doctors they will say 'it's a virus' and send me home and I will end up with more viruses from sitting in the waiting room!!

Robie, please give us details - I need some gossip.

I am going up to bed shortly with a book and the dog!!

Calm down dears, it's my real life stuff, nothing on here. If you really wanna know it's the (empty) house next door...present owners have only gone and stuck newspaper to the big window at front, there were nets before. It looks like a bloody squat/crack den & is attracting a lot of attention, people yesterday actually stopped to stare, so I rang to tell them. He understood (& laughed), said mrs had done it...she's not quite so humoured. Apparently it's because the (hopeful) newbies are stashing house stuff & don't want it to be seen. What the?!! Put it in the back then or put some curtains up...jeez. They are soooo gonna love me as a neighbour. :o) btw I'm not the only one who feels this way..

Think I'll go & smear savlon all over the damned windows...it's (my) life's cure-all Lottie!
You are right Robi, rule one is make it look lived in....

Yes, that's right woofy...I keep thinking I might have been a bit harsh but there are three lots of people involved - the sellers (the t's aren't crooed & i's aren't dotted yet)...the newbies...and me! I'll be next to it if there's trouble.
Doesn't cost much to keep the place looking occupied...don't they know how to bodgit on a budget, lol?
Question Author
*crooed?!..haha... crossed
Hahaaa. You lot are a tonic ,what with itchy bots ,spotty gobs, bidgy bodgets and broken tootsies I'm creased up .Although the rum in the coffee may have helped :)
Sluuurp .
I've cracked it ".How to be a nuisance with a firm voice and insistent manner ".
Dosages and tests sorted !

Ooh I sometimes read some of that old fanny adams Woofy .I despair sometimes I really do .No gumption .
I must go and fry some chicken .
Oh well done Shaney...it will be much easier now you've cracked :-)
Evening Sweet Fanny Adamses, Fanny Trollopes, Eco-Fannies - no wait that's me. I just have to say how exciting you've almost bought "my" ring, Jude! You'll have to learn to yoik now;-)

Neti it wouldn't be the navicular bone would it? I broke that one just sliding down from one step to another, didn't even fall, just twisted my foot and landed on the twist if you see what I mean. Is Henry good per se or is it just cos you don't expect much of someone who looks like a half-wit? >>>>> ...and does he sport a HEPA filter?

Get well soon Lottie. I've got a cold too but it's a minor one, induced by the seasonal jab I took on Friday, I suspect. The nurse was incredible, I didn't feel a thing and I do mean I didn't feel a thing. My jaw literally dropped when she said there, you're done - I felt like applauding her, the way airline passengers applaud a pilot on landing...! Don't let Mr S read this, Shaney, or you'll be in so much trouble;-)

Well done shaney, power to the grumpies! We shall not be moved :o)
I'm glad I've contributed to making you smile today...for every person I upset in a day I do like to make at least two laugh.

Yes Kit, I'm eagerly awaiting what the 'best offer' for the ring turns out to be, hahaha...that made me laugh Jude, you've been watching too much Real Deal. I hope you asked if they do bogof? I'll have free one :o)
I just grab a bit of flesh and jab it it in Kit :) Count to ten and out it pops ! Any moans and groans go completely over my head. He ....heee .
I always knew that my mispent youth as a reasonably good darts player would come in handy .
1970 Garibaldi Hotel ( no longer there alas ) ,local darts championships finals . Ladies doubles winner .Mixed doubles runner up :)
Well shaney dufarge, I'm glad our ailments have cheered you up, see, what good friends we are, willing to suffer to cheer you up! My foot looks like it;s wearing a dark blue sock and there's a huge hard lump under my toe!

Dear Kit, have no idea what bone is broken, I couldn't understand much of what she gabbled, probably a bit like the Maldives wedding! And there was a lot of enjoyment on the practitioner's face when he jabbed me botty!!Poor jude, you've just broken my dream, I had been dreaming of a small blow-up rubber ring for botties to sit on!!

Robi, you always make me laugh, you are so incredibly funny, even my sister remembers you from a couple of years ago when she was reading AB in Eastbourne with me.

Have done nothing but eat today, but apparently that's all to the good.

Will see you all tomorrow dearies, and take care, there's enough of us on sick list as it is!
Aaw Neti ..as if I'd knit round the tumbril whilst you have a poorly toootsie .
Seriously I hope you're not in too much pain. Put your feet up old girl and let them wait on you xx
If you can't cope I'm sure that Staff Nurse Robinia will come and sort you out with a hot poultice and soothing drinks . I hope you like Buttercup syrup .
What a raggle taggle army we are lately :)
but we keep marching on and that's the important bit...pitch black out there today...god bless LED torches....the boys love tearing around in the dark, they are now flaked out with full tums
Have a good day all
Morning all, foot feels a lot better today, but still blue, going to see if I can drive later! Hope you are all feeling OK, esp DH and mr s.

Rock on Charlie!!

Just phoned my bro in Oz (only 5 mins) hope it won't be too expensive, he is 70 today as is my sister in Eastbourne, so will call her later.

Bright and sunny with lots of bonfire smoke which drives me MAD, cos all washing will now stink!!!!
grey and gloomy, wouldn't know if there was bonfire smoke out there or not, it's all grey. Car 1 goes for MOT today; hope it gets one quickly as it's car 2's turn tomorrow.

Our MOT's have to be booked 9months in advance here, as there is only one testing station on the island.
Good Morning.

I owe you a big apology. I skimmed through the posts and totally overlooked the fact that you had broken a bone in your foot!! I have broken two toes and a bone in foot during my clumsy life!! Very painful and very inconvenient. Broke a toe doing the twist at home when I was 15 (kicked the door), broke bone in foot by stumbling on the stairs and twisting foot over when I was 18, broke little toe when I was 38ish. Master LL ran over it with a full shopping trolley. He was 3!!

A brightish morning but still grey and I am delighted to say I have been watching a tree creeper climbing up a small hawthorn in my garden. They may have been there before but it's the first I have seen.

I actually got some sleep and didn't have coughing fits all night (although Mr LL says I snored like a trooper and kept him awake (he he).

Have to go into town so must make an effort today, but hopefully am now well on the mend.

xxxx

Morning all...brightening up here so I'd better do something with my face & go & pick on someone in the shops. I do wish Boots would hurry up & send me those vouchers that they do...you know, double points...200 extra points if you spend 39/11...I'm down to my last scraping of nivvy, I'm using sqezy to shower with and I've mangled me sta-blond shampoo sachet to get the last drops out....tut

I used to throw a fairly mean dart shaney, we should start a team. My grip's not so good tho', I could let go at the wrong moment and pierce the inflatables :o)

Neti, everyone in here has a great soh & it's good we can hang on to it even when times are tough...this has just had me in fits....lol Kit!
"Is Henry good per se or is it just cos you don't expect much of someone who looks like a half-wit?"...I had a relationship along those lines once :o)

Hope you're all hobbling & coughing better & that this covers everyone's problems...any erm, 'other ointments' can be found in a brown paper bag hanging on the door in the outside lav.
