Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?

It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

By jove, crikey, it is bloody cold out there and the wind is howling . I have spent a bit of time cutting the huge heads of the giant sunflowers. and stuffing them into crannies in trees and bushes. They are so heavy. If one of those sunflowers blew down and landed on your head it might even be fatal.
Afternoon Woofie by the way.
Where is Shaney?

Its strange Lottie, we hear folk shooting round about while we are walking and they don't turn a hair, the nearby container port cranes drop containers into position with a hell of a racket and no response but the bangs and crackles of fireworks really unnerve them.
DH goes back to hospital (nice one) for the day tomorrow to get his tubes out which will be a great relief. The one that goes directly into the kidney has been turned off and its all been flowing out through his bladder. Tomorrow they take out both tubes then sit him down and he has to drink until he pees normally (Mr S will know the drill)...still no news on the results of the samples taken when he had the tumour removed...actually we think no news is good news, if he had needed radiotherapy we think he would have been called back before now.

Take care all and keep warm .
Best of luck at the piddle parade tomorrow Woofy :)

Hi all you frozen people ,we are not having our usual balmy Spring weather here but better than freezing .I wish all the poorly folk all the best and may you continue to recover .I haven't joined you all because I have my own problems and find it hard to discuss . Main concern is my lungs and breathing and also my depression and Bi-polar but not to worry .Look after yourselves .Dolly xxx
Dolly I will bother god on your behalf about your various problems, you do't need to tell us what they are, its nice to see you on here, also to see you pop up in my in box. Its wet cold and windy here this morning (and DARK)got to call DH in 10 mins because he has to check in at the piddle shop at 07.30. They are doing him early because he can't do nil by mouth for long on account of the kidney.
Morning folk. Have been up since 6.30am as Mr LL had to go to London early and I was a dutiful wife making him a packed lunch. I think we got it colder than anywhere else here on the East Coast yesterday. It was bitter. Not much better today, but that dreadful wind has calmed down.
Special good morning to Dolly. Come on here when you can. We all have our fair share of problems so we understand - we really do.
Hope Mr Woof gets on alright at the piddle shop!
I fancy going back to bed, but I can't. I have a delivery of garden screening coming and I don't know at what time. grrrrrrr
See you later x

Morning all...hi Dolly, sorry you've had a rough time, hope you feel better.
I'm just here for a moan really so any god botherers feel free to say one for me...
Well, the weather's freezing, wild n windy...and rain threatening
I'm as dizzy as a cuckoo
I have to go to the dentist
had a headache all day yesterday which was wearing
AND my right eye's gone blurry again!! aaagghh
Is that the way it goes once you've had the retinal thing?
I shouldn't complain really I see you've got far more important things to attend to day & I hope all goes well...it's just that the steady drip, drip, drip of ailments & annoyances get me down, specially this time of year.
Back later, I hope
Amen and out.

Hi Robi. Can I join you in the dizzy brigade. I am going through that as well!! And my left eye has always been a bit strange since my problem (which was similar to yours). It blurs and goes watery at the least little thing and I do tend to get headaches behind it. My friend who has the same problem gets the same too! So I think it might be normal.
