Does anyone happen to know what kind of moth this is please, without my having to trawl through hundreds of pics?

It's not really vital that I find out, I'm just curious. Maybe it's something really common...and no, it didn't fly out of my purse. :o)

Yes neti, 'at her age'? You do realise Sweedie's only about half your age? :o)
Been shopping with sis in her new 'noddy car' haha. Well it is compared to her last one. It's a Peugot 107 but we still managed to cram it full of things from Sains & Boots. If Mr S feels up to tidying my tins shaney he's very welcome, I've got plenty of them now....and erm, a few cakes.
Lovely song Kit but I've been sat sittin' wonderin' what the beginning reminded me of...and it's 10CC's Feel the Benefit...which reminds me of this time exactly in '77...and from that I could be back at Sunday school in the 1900's ...haha. Funny how one thought goes on....

Have had a lovely day. Went to visit an old friend (she's 88 and had two strokes) her mind is still very sharp, and she still plays scrabble with her carer. I can't! Daughter has just made us a lovely dinner, tom and mozzarella salad, bacon/tom/spinach cheesey lasagne, and key lime pie and choc pie (for Mr N), am completely stuffed. Back is feeling fine but toe is throbbing.
Now dum on .Own up ? Who div me dis dold ?
Evening folks
I have stonker of a cold no doubt picked up roaming round that hospital .I went to the Farmers Market at sparrows poops this morning ,it was so cold over there ,came back and went back to bed for a couple of hours .Unusual for me as I am not really a daytime sleeper .
Thanks for all your good wishes for us .I'm sure that all your thoughts and vibes have helped enormously .
It's onwards and upwards now and Mr S has eaten a more normal meal this evening .He wolfed down three sausages ,a pile of mash and brussel tops with loads of gravy .I was so pleased to see him tuck in .
I am so envious Jno ,it's a cultural wasteland here.Sounds like a good exhibition .It's quite a big thing that Book of the Dead looking at it on the clip .
I hope Mr Woofy is still keeping well and that you are all OK .I'm going to do my crosswords and take meself off to bed for an early night with a liberal dose of hot toddy .
Take care all ,see you later ,have a good weekend xx

Good morning...bit nippy today but bright 'n sunny
erm, excuse me mrs s, it most certainly is not I, it's Jude, & I'm not sure what she'll have to say to jno about posting it. Sorry you've got a cold, hope it soon disappears. I don't know how many people I gave the mean stare for coughing in my space yesterday...I should have worn the lampshade.
neti...one can dream on..

Lol Robinia ...
I thought that was our Jude in blue :)
It's a lovely here ,bit breezy but bright and sunny .I wish I had the energy to go and do something in The Lost Gardens of Shaneytowers .
It's only a head cold .I woke up on Wednesday ( I think it was ) with a strep throat and I've gone downhill fast .
What I need is a spell from the Book of the Living .
This toddy may help .It's mostly whisky with a very small amount of honey and lemon .
Slow cooker meal today .Something with dumplings :)

Well, Ok, one is not acutally one's friend, but I can leave messages for her madge! And I did! Must remind her that I have a letter from her lady-in-waiting when she was crowned.
Lovely bit of news, whilst in England I wrote to Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal) in the local lingo and asked him for a signed photo to send to my nephew who lives in oz and who is Autistic and he absolutely adores anything Arsenal. This week on Nephew's 11th birthday ( and he's been in hospital all week with dehidration) he received a packet from Arsenal with a signed piccy of Cesc, one of the whole team with signatures and a shirt, and a letter. He was over the moon. So nice of them!
Been out for italian lunch, Bread and Alioli, chicken and prawn salad, then I had chicken in Roquefort sauce, profiteroles and Rosado wine, yummy.
Hope you are all Ok
Woofy, I wonder if QE11 plays farmville and yoville!!!!

Hello folk. Lovely day here today, but yesterday was miserable and wet most of the day. However, we went out for a meal to belatedly celebrate Mr LL's birthday ('cos I was ill last week) and had a nice time.
I now have my new computer but still have things that need installing. Master LL ran out of time yesterday. But bless his heart the computer came free. However it is still on IE 6 and has to be upgraded to 8. I therefore can't get You Tube. All good things come to he who waits.
He has retrieved all my photos - I am so relieved and now have some sort of device that backs everything up every time I switch off - hooray.
Sorry about your horrid cold Shaney. I didn't mean to blow it across the county. I bet this is the best weekend ever for you and Mr S. What a relief it all must be.
See you all soon.
